Sports Floors

Picture
We're unique in that we have riding equipment and an experienced team of people that speed up any project while producing the highest quality at the same time.  We have continual training on wood movement and flooring systems.  And we constantly research the latest technology for coatings and maintenance.

Each year we service tens of thousands of square feet of hardwood sports flooring.  We evaluate seasonal movement as well as localized moisture damage.  We have access to national manufacturer reps that will fly in to evaluate flooring for us.  We buff and recoat hardwood floors.  We remove and repair damaged sections matching them to the original flooring.  Repairs have ranged from volleyball standards limiting movement of a floating floor to removing and replacing 1,000 sf of a gym that was flooded.  We've even salvaged hardwood floors that were underwater by cutting out a section, weighting down the adjacent flooring, and drying the floor and substrate before reassembly.  If floors are worn through the existing finish and another coat of finish can't fix the damage, we sand and refinish wood floors restoring them to their original condition.  We customize existing floors by adding tinting, additional lines, or logos.

We help facility managers evaluate when and if recoating and refinishing are needed.  Then we help them develop, schedule, and budget service work for many years to maximize their value.  We've worked with almost every facility in the area so any of them are good references.

We also install and service many smaller, hardwood sport courts in homes.  In these cases, the floors are assembled like normal, and we paint whatever lines will fit in that setting.  Hardwood sport courts are popular because they offer durability, rebound, cushion, and beauty that is unmatched.  Coupled with the right advice and service, wood floors last for many decades.
